Morning: Saigon – Vinh Long (125 km)
We take you to My Tho from Ho Chi Minh city, passing by Phu My Hung – one of the new urban areas in Ho Chi Minh city. When reaching My Tho (Tien Giang Province), we will have breakfast and catch the ferryboat to visit Cuu Long – Cai Be, go sightseeing along Tien river. At Cai Be floating market, you will find a very special market place in the Mekong Delta with merchandise hung on sparrow trees in the bow. Here you will trade with the Western river traders. Besides, you can learn more about the traditional handicap industry along Tien river; visit com, vermicelli, paper cake factories.
We will stop in at one of the garden houses inhabited by veteran villagers in An Binh islet. Here you can find some typical conventional farming equipment of the South. After that, you can enjoy the traditional kind of music in the South – “đờn ca tài tử” and have specialties for lunch. Besides, riding bicycle to visit the gardens with longan, mango, rambutan; or rowing boat are also great choices.
When it is nearly dark, we can admire the delightful scenery of Co Chien river and pottery villages along the river.
Afternoon: Vinh Long – Saigon (125 km)
We will pick you up at Truong An Tourist by car. We will visit the city block and Vinh Long trade centre, then the cable-stayed bridge My Thuan. On the way to Cai Lay, you will stop in at some gardens with a wide range of tropical fruist like: pomelo, longan, durian, rambutan, ...which are very famous in Ba Dua, Kim Son, Vinh Kim. Here you can buy some fruits as gifts for your family.
We will have porridge before coming back to Ho Chi Minh city.
Arriving at Saigon, we say goodbye and see you again.
